INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND CENTER was founded in 1983 as: K.M.A. SUNBELT TRADING CORPORATION, KMA, a wholesaler of 14kt gold chain and fine jewelry items to the jewelry industry. In 1989, KMA estabslished partnerships to cut and manufacture diamonds in Franca, Brazil and Ramat Gham, Israel, and became an aggressive dealer of finer loose diamonds and colored stones from Belgium, Russia and Israel.

While wholesale to the jewelry trade across the globe continues to this day, in 1990 KMA opened its first International Diamond Center fine jewelry showroom in Clearwater, Florida, making its enormous wholesale inventory available to the public. This direct-to-consumer retail center eliminates the middleman and passes the savings on to you, the customer. Since that time IDC has continued to expand and now has six super showrooms in Florida and Georgia, all offering an amazing selection of diamonds, remarkable designer lines and custom bridal pieces not available elsewhere, including:

Diamond Bridal Department

Foremost in the IDC showrooms is the extensive and competitive Diamond Bridal Department, where a selection of hundreds of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) graded loose diamonds can be instantly paired with a platinum, yellow gold or white gold setting to create the perfect union of diamond and mounting.

Certified Sales Associates

All IDC’s senior sales associates are Certified Diamontologists trained by the Diamond Council of America and most of them carry other credentials in gemology and specific diamond training earned through courses offered by well recognized educational associations. Knowing that buying a diamond can be confusing, IDC’s sales associates take the time to explain to you what makes one diamond worth more than another and help you make an intelligent decision, formed by facts, mixed with a little bit of emotion in a casual, friendly and fun atmosphere.
